Member Short Description
The Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH), founded in 2000, is one of the largest research centers in the country. Today CERTH consists of 5 institutes. In this Collaborative Innovation Cluster CERTH participates through the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) and more specifically, through the Multimodal Data Fusion and Analytics Group (M4D) of the Multimedia Knowledge and Social Media Analytics Lab (MKLab). The group has participated in over 50 Research & Development projects and currently has over 220 publications with a special focus on web media mining and social media; more specifically, on big data analytics, computer vision, multimodal analytics based on AI, multimodal data fusion, knowledge extraction from multimedia and its semantic representation, as well as, on decision support and visual analytics.
